We are pleased to share final details for the choir’s upcoming summer tour to Vienna in 2026. This exciting opportunity will see our singers participate in Season II of the prestigious World Peace Choral Festival, held from 23rd to 26th July 2026.

This is a unique opportunity for the choir to perform at one of the world’s most influential international choral festivals, alongside outstanding choirs from over 20 countries. FYC will perform in some of Vienna’s most iconic venues, including the United Nations Headquarters and the Golden Hall (Musikverein).


Travel & Accommodation

  • Departure: Wednesday 22nd July 2026 (Heathrow Terminal 3)

  • Return: Monday 27th July 2026 (Heathrow Terminal 3)

  • Flights: British Airways

    • BA722 (LHR–VIE 07:00–10:20)

    • BA723 (VIE–LHR 11:00–12:30)

  • Accommodation

Singers should:

  • Arrive at Heathrow Terminal 3 at 04:15 (Meeting Point G)

  • Be collected from Terminal 3 Arrivals at approximately 13:30 on return

Accommodation Details

A&T Hostel Vienna, Leibnizgasse 66, 1100 Vienna

  • Shared rooms (2, 4 or 6 beds), all ensuite

  • Free Wi-Fi

  • Lockable lockers (bring a padlock). Padlocks can be rented from reception for €5

  • Towels not included – please bring one

Important:

  • €20 cash deposit required on arrival

  • Vending machines are cash only


Meals

  • Daily continental breakfast buffet provided at the hostel

  • Lunches and dinners provided near venues (unless stated otherwise)

  • Dietary requirements will be catered for

Additional notes:

  • Lunch on 22 July will be at Gerngross Food Court (singers will need money for this)

  • Further catering details will be shared later this week

  • First included meal: dinner on 22 July


Transport in Vienna

  • Coach transfer between airport and accommodation

  • All other travel via public transport and walking

Important update:

  • Under 16s travel free (with ID) during July and August

  • 16+ singers will receive a Vienna Transport Card

Chaperones will carry ID copies for all singers.

  • Most performances are open to families and free to attend

  • Everyone who requested tickets from Donna has now been sent an email with full ticket arrangement details

  • UN performances are not accessible to families


Safeguarding

    • Chaperones: Louise Todd, Aggie Paintin, Lizzie Post

  • Clear safeguarding procedures, headcounts, and care plans in place

  • Backup chaperones available if required
