DIGITAL ARCHIVE: 1984 - 2015

For over 30 years, press cuttings, programmes, briefings and other related material about the growth of Farnham Youth Choir were kept and later collated into a physical archive by FYC parent volunteer and long-standing supporter, Alison Noakes.

In 2019, FYC commissioned the University for the Creative Arts to digitise all 37 volumes of Alison’s original archive to create a fully searchable record of the choirs’ first 30 years under David and Gillian Victor-Smith.

This can be downloaded and search as a dynamic PDF via the link below.

This is a tremendous resource, not only for FYC Alumni and Members but also as a sociological record of the young people who moved through the choirs and the extent to the successes the organisation enjoyed across the world during this period. It is a lasting legacy to the work undertaken by Alison in compiling this resource on behalf of Farnham Youth Choir.
