Vocal workshops for schools

Singing Spree 2022

Workshop at St Bartholomew’s C of E Primary School

Clare Robins

As part of FYC's commitment to encouraging all children to sing, and thanks to generous funding from the D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust, we are delighted to offer children in local primary schools a vocal workshop with FYC conductor, Claire Robins. Claire is available to lead a workshop for any number of children in school years 2 - 6 on a Wednesday in term-time.

So far, Claire has delivered singing workshops to over 1000 Farnham primary-school children. Here’s what schools have said:

‘We had a fantastic afternoon with Claire from FYC. Children and adults all loved the easy-to-learn songs and gained in confidence.’

William Cobbett Primary School

‘It was fantastic – great fun for pupils and staff alike. It obviously filled us with joy, as we could still hear the songs being sung around school until home time.’

St John’s C of E Infant School

‘A thoroughly engaging and enjoyable hour of singing! The children have gone back to their classrooms singing the songs with big smiles on their faces. Thank you!’
