Young Adelaide Voices, a community youth choir very similar in age and ethos to FYC,  were hosted by Farnham Youth Choir families during the UK leg of their recent month-long concert tour to Japan, England, Belgium and Germany.
The choir's director, Deb Munro, said that the group were travelling during term-time, but with the blessing of the many head-teachers from whose schools the children were drawn for the broad educational experiences that were to be gathered from foreign travel.  In Japan the group had sung at a Peace Concert in Hiroshima and on leaving Farnham they would enjoy a sight-seeing trip to London before travelling to Belgium to take part in the European Youth Choral Festival in Neerpelt, and another in Dresden in Germany.
The two choirs joined together to give a concert in St Thomas on-the Bourne Church, Farnham, preceded by a shared tea organised by Farnham Youth Choir parents.
