Autumn Concert at St. Andrew’s 2010
The Sunday supplements contain lots of offers saying that something is "fabulous", "unbelievable", "incredible" and so on. I do not always believe these statements but the FYC concert would fully justify these adjectives and more beside. So I write to express our gratitude and appreciation; the concert can only be described as "brilliant". It was, for all of us, a memorable occasion. I wish the choir every success in the forthcoming competitions.

Thank you for a very special concert in church this evening. We were impressed with the Mayor's heart-felt praise for the choir, and we agreed with him about the wonder of being enveloped in glorious choral sound. Little did he know what was coming! 'Steal Away' moved a lot of people, and not just the audience. This embracing singing-in-the-round is such an enormous comfort, that anyone in trouble there must have felt consoled.

I just wanted to tell David Victor-Smith how much I enjoyed the Concert at St. Andrew's Church Farnham last Saturday the 16th October. I had not heard them perform for several years and am amazed (apart from their precision and versatility) that they have achieved 25 years - congratulations all round!
