The Montreux Choral Festival provided a fine opportunity for a spring tour, stopping en route at Trier with an opportunity to test the acoustics in the splendid cathedral. As well as the competition itself, the stay in Montreux provided several other performance opportunities in churches, an old peoples’ home and as ever, the ferry terminal! There was super sightseeing along the way at Chillon Castle and the local traditional fairground.
