The administration of Farnham Youth Choirs is in the hands of volunteers, including members’ parents, the key musicians and a choir administrator. Their responsibilities include monitoring the musical education, performance and choir members’ welfare, organizing concerts, publicity and PR, deciding on uniforms, setting up overseas tours, financial management, fundraising and social events. There is a management committee and a sub-committee for organising events. Many other individuals undertake or help with particular projects. The contribution of volunteer support in Farnham Youth Choirs is critical.
