Rehearsal times
The Youth Choir rehearses during term-times on Wednesday evenings (5.15pm-6.45pm). The other choirs rehearse on Monday evenings (5.15pm-6.30pm).
Please note: There is NO audition to join Trainers, a group for girls and boys aged 7 to 9. Youngsters can join at any time. Just call or email if you’re interested.
Age-ranges
Farnham Youth Choir: 11 to 18
Junior Girls’ Choir: 9 upwards
Junior Boys Choir: 9 upwards
Entry to these choirs is normally by audition, held during late June/early July.
Places can be booked from the first week after Summer half-term by contacting the auditions secretary, Alison Nicholls on 01252 629234.
Audition
On audition day, you will be able to
- do some group singing under the guidance of the musical directors
- meet current choir members and hear from them what they get up to and the places they visit with the choir.
The musical directors will decide whether you can be offered a place in one of the choirs.
Subscription fees
Current* termly fees per head are:
Farnham Youth Choir: £112
Junior Girls/Boys Choirs: £84
Training Choir: £62
There are discounts where more than one family member is in the choir structure.
