How to join
Sally Gray, in a lively film by John Collins, gives you an idea of what Farnham Youth Choir is about.
Auditions are normally held during June, but if you want to join any of the choirs call now 01252 717173 and leave a message or email fyc@noakes.plus.com - either way we shall get back to you very quickly.
On audition day, you will be able to:
- do some group singing under the guidance of the musical directors
- meet current choir members and hear from them what they get up to and the places they visit with the choir.
The Musical Directors will decide whether you can be offered a place in one of the choirs.
The age ranges of the choirs are:
Farnham Youth Choir: 11 to 18
Junior Girls’ Choir: 9 upwards
Junior Boys Choir: 9 upwards
There is NO audition to join Trainers, a group for girls and boys aged 7 to 9. Youngsters can join at any time. Just call or email if you’re interested.
From September 2010 termly fees per head are:
Farnham Youth Choir: £109
Junior Girls/Boys Choirs: £80
Training Choir: £59
There are discounts where more than one family member is in the choir structure.
