An upper-voice choir of up to 50 boys and girls aged between 11 and 18 from a wide catchment area around Farnham. David-Victor Smith MBE is musical director.

Aims to perform to a very high standard a broadly based and demanding repertoire of both sacred and secular pieces

Performs regularly in London at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall, also locally in Farnham and West Surrey. The choir has featured on both radio and television

Regular participation in competitions and festivals. Past successes include Youth Choir of the Year, National Festival of Music for Youth and international competitions in Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Belgium.

Biennial overseas tours are planned. Previous destinations have included China, Australia, Italy, Switzerland and Germany.

|
·
|
Hosts (with home stays) high quality overseas youth choirs visiting the UK. Visitors have come from Australia, USA, Russia and Germany

Seven recordings have been issued and an eighth is in preparation
|
|
·
|
Entry by audition, normally in June for the following September
|

Rehearses weekly (for 1½ hours) on Wednesdays during term time at Frensham Heights School in Farnham, starting at 5.00pm. Periodic full and half day’s rehearsing at weekends.
