An upper-voice choir of up to 25 boys aged between 9 and 13, mainly from the area around Farnham. David Victor-Smith is musical director.

Aims to provide a foundation of good singing technique and introduce youngsters to the fun and discipline of performing to a high standard. ‘Club’ and sporting activities add to the enjoyment. Choir members audition successfully for the Youth Choir

Participates successfully in local competitions, regularly features in local concerts and occasionally further afield. A founder group of the annual Boys’ Choir Festival which will next take place in Autumn 2009 in Farnham.

The choir rehearses and performs from time-to-time with tenor and bass support. This gives members SATB experience, allows flexibility in handling the changing voice, and defines a path for choral singing after that time.

Entry by audition normally in June for entry the following September but boys can be accepted at other times by arrangement with the director.

Rehearses weekly on Monday for 1¼ hours (1½ hours from September) during term time at Frensham Heights School in Farnham, starting at 5.00pm. Occasional half day’s rehearsing at weekends.
